There are about 12 or 13 different types of breast cancer and all require different approaches to treat. Wonder if we worked just as hard to try to PREVENT breast cancer in the first place as we do to try to figure out how to treat it? What do you think?
November is Pancreatic, Lung, Stomach, Carcinoid and Cancer Caregiver Awareness Month. Do you know what are the most common cancers in your town? You can go to your states Cancer Registry to find out! It takes a lot of strength, energy and resiliency to deal with cancer and its symptoms and its treatment. Cancer does not exist in a vacuum.
There is a whole network of family, children, friends, and community that extends their kindness, energy, strength, compassion and resiliency to help the person with cancer!
